  1. Botulinum toxin in Hirschsprung disease
  2. Vascular lasers in capillary malformations
  3. Conservative treatment of pectus excavatum
  4. Surgical treatment of chest wall deformities

PROCEEDINGS

1. Botulinum toxin

  • Indications: ultrashort segment, postoperative dysfunction
  • Mechanism: acetylcholine inhibition, sphincter relaxation
  • Effectiveness: 60–80%, 3–6 months

Conclusion: bridge therapy, not definitive


2. Vascular lasers

  • PDL = gold standard
  • Early treatment most effective
  • Multiple sessions required

3. Conservative treatment

  • Vacuum bell, exercises
  • Best <10–12 years
  • Requires compliance

4. Surgical treatment

  • Nuss (preferred)
  • Ravitch

Indications: Haller index >3.25


GENERAL CONCLUSIONS:

  • Shift toward minimally invasive surgery
  • Importance of early diagnosis and multidisciplinary care

RESOLUTIONS:

  • Accept reports
  • Implement modern techniques
  • Improve early detection
  • Continue regular meetings
